To provide an engaging, interactive, on-line opportunity for young women in STEM and their allies to problem-solve, collaborate with mentors and industry professionals, develop skills and open minds to new opportunities.

About the FIRST Robotics Canada Girls and Allies STEMathon

Join us ONLINE on May 14th  and 15th for the FIRST Canada STEMathon – 2022! Teams of four to five students will work together to solve a real-world problem (THEME to be announced the day of the event). Enjoy 24 hours of showcasing your STEM skills and teamwork with the FIRST Canada community! Launching at noon on Saturday, May 14th and wrapping up at 4 PM on Sunday, May 15th  the event features a weekend of problem-solving, informative and engaging workshops, and a lot of fun for everyone!

Hosted by Karthik Kanagasabapathy and the FIRST Canada Youth Council, who will facilitate a weekend full of inspiration, project presentations, scavenger hunts and much more. The teams will be matched and guided by FIRST Canada mentors and volunteers who will provide insight and tips for participants, and most of all, cheer on their team to new heights!
