Mississauga Coding & Robotics Drop-In Session: Building Manipulators
November 26 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Are you interested in learning to code? Do you enjoy designing and building with LEGO? Have you ever wondered about the science and engineering behind self-driving vehicles? If you answered yes to any of these questions then please join the members of the robotics team at Holy Name of Mary College School for the second in a series of four workshops, which will introduce participants in grades 4 – 8 to building and programming using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots through a variety of fun, creative challenges. In this session, participants will learn to build attachments or manipulators such as a robotic arm and will earn one of four available badges; but the learning doesn’t have to stop there! Join us for future sessions in which participants will learn about using sensors and advanced programming techniques.
