Young Kids Playing with LEGO

FIRST LEGO League Provincial Championship Event

9:00 am - 11:00 am ET

More than 30+ elementary school teams from across Ontario will compete in the FIRST LEGO League Ontario Championships on May 15, 2021. Teams have spent the past eight months  engaged in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering – building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. As part of Challenge, teams also  will explore the activities we can do in different spaces for play and how we can ensure that our games and activities are fun and accessible for everyone involved.

FIRST Tech Challenge Provincial Championship Event

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm ET

Join FIRST Tech Challenge Teams as they showcase robots developed and operated by teams of middle and high school students. The competing robots are the best robots from the FTC Qualifying Events. The robots represent the product of focused brainstorming, real-world teamwork, dedicated mentoring, and managing project deadlines. Awards will be given for the competition as for well as for community outreach, design, and other real-world accomplishments

FIRST Robotics Competition Awards Gala

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm ET

Join us to celebrate the accomplishments of High school students that have worked hard to compete virtually this year with their robot and design challenges. Teams had to demonstrate what their robots and drivers can do in a Skills Competition inspired by the INFINITE RECHARGE game.  Teams also designed a FIRST Robotics Competition game to compete against other teams for a chance to pitch their game to the FIRST Robotics Competition Game Design Team. This show will announce award winners for all of the At Home Challenges as well as the Traditionally Submitted Awards along with the many scholarships FIRST Canada offers!
