FIRST Canada is proud to announce our first ever Youth Summit hosted by FIRST Canada’s Youth Council. This one day event will take place at the Kingbridge Centre in King City, Ontario. High school students who are currently participating in a FIRST Tech Challenge team or FIRST Robotics Competition team are invited to apply. A maximum of two students per team will be accepted.

The purpose of the event is to give students a voice on topics including technology, allyship, diversity, inclusion and resources. Our new Youth Council will host the day full of group activities, guest speakers, and panels.

8:30 am – Registration and Icebreaker Activities

9 am – Opening Remarks

9:15 am – Youth Council Introductions and Update

9:45 am – CanCode Coding Activity

10:45 am – Break

11 am – Allyship Workshop with Dr. Imogen Coe and Tai Young

12 noon – Lunch

1 pm – Allyship Group Presentations

1:30 pm – Your Turn! Topics that Matter to You

2 pm – Industry Panel and Networking

2:50 pm – Closing
